Canon imagePROGRAF Free Layout （以降、 Free Layout ）の使用に際しては、以下のような制限事項
があります。あらかじめ、これらの点に注意してください。

• Free Layout はロール紙給紙をサポートする OS X 用 Canon IJ CUPS プリンタードライバー

v15.0.0 以降に対応しています。

• 本ガイドでは、おもに OS X Yosemite v10.10 をお使いの場合に表示される画面で説明しています。

Free Layout の特長
Free Layout の主な特長は以下のとおりです。

• アプリケーションソフトで作成した原稿を自由に配置して印刷できます。
• 複数のページを 1 ページに配置するだけでなく、複数のファイルの原稿を 1 ページに配置して印刷した

り、複数のアプリケーションソフトで作成した原稿を 1 ページに配置して印刷できます。
参考

• 用紙の種類、画像のサイズ、用紙の詳細設定、プリンター本体の設定によっては、実際の出力が Free

Layout 上の設定と異なる場合があります。

• Free Layout は、プリンタードライバーをインストールすることによりお使いになれます。

Free Layout の起動方法
Free Layout を起動する手順は、以下のとおりです。
1.［プリント］ダイアログボックスを開く
ご使用になるアプリケーションソフトの［ファイル］メニューからプリンターの設定を行うメニューを
選択し、［プリント］ダイアログボックスを開きます。

［Canon imagePROGRAF Free Layout］メニューから［環境設定］を選択すると、表示されます。Free
Layout の環境設定を行うことができます。
［表示単位］
ルーラーの表示単位を選択します。
［グリッド線］
オブジェクトの配置の目安となるように、グリッド線の幅を半角数字で入力します。

• 入力できる数値は「10.0～200.0(mm)」「0.39～7.87(inch)」です。
• ［ ］ボタンまたは［ ］ボタンを押しても、数値を変更することができます。

［分割線］
オブジェクトの配置の目安となるように、グリッド線の分割数を変更します。

［グリッドの色］
グリッド線の色を選択します。
［オブジェクト枠］
オブジェクトの枠線の印刷設定を行います。

チェックマークを付けるとオブジェクトの枠線を印刷します。

［配置順］
オブジェクトの配置順を設定します。

ページ設定ダイアログボックス
［ファイル］メニューから［ページ設定］を選択すると、表示されます。このダイアログボックスで、印刷
の向き、用紙サイズなどを設定します。
ここで設定された内容が、メインウインドウの［レイアウトエリア］に反映されます。
［用紙サイズ］
印刷する用紙のサイズを選択します。
［方向］
用紙の向きを選択します。
用紙の向きには、以下の設定があります。
設定項目 内容
［縦］
アプリケーションで作成した図や文章をそのままの向きで印刷しま
す。
［横］
アプリケーションで作成した図や文章の向きを、横に 90 度回転して
印刷します。
［拡大縮小］
選択された用紙に描画するデータを拡大／縮小するための設定です。
Free Layout では常に 100%に設定されます。
参考

• Free Layout で 100%以外の数値を入力しても無効になります。
• この設定を変更する場合は、ご使用のアプリケーションの［ページ設定］パネルで行ってくださ

い。

［ファイル］メニューから［プリント］を選択すると表示されます。印刷はこのダイアログボックスから行
います。
［プリンタ］
印刷に使用するプリンターを選びます。
［下端余白を印刷しない］
［詳細を表示］をクリックすると表示されます。
［下端余白を印刷しない］にチェックマークを付けると、下端にある余白を除いた状態で印刷用のオブ
ジェクトを作成します。
［プリント］
クリックすると、印刷を開始します。
重要

• Free Layout に対応していないプリンターを選んでいる場合は、以下のようなメッセージが表示

されます。この場合はプリンターを選び直してください。

1 つのオブジェクトを選ぶ場合は、オブジェクトをクリックします。
オブジェクトを選ぶと、オブジェクトの周囲に選択ボックス（青い枠線）が表示されます。
複数のオブジェクトを選ぶ場合は、下記のように行います。

• 連続したオブジェクトを複数選ぶ場合は、shift キーを押しながら、オブジェクトをクリックします。
• 任意のオブジェクトを複数選ぶ場合は、command キーを押しながら、オブジェクトをクリックします。
• すべてのオブジェクトを選ぶ場合は、［編集］メニューから［すべてを選択］を選択します。

オブジェクトのサイズを変更する手順には、マウス操作による方法と、拡大／縮小倍率を指定する方法があ
ります。

• オブジェクトの縦横の比率は変わらずに、拡大／縮小されます。

1. オブジェクトを選択
2. オブジェクトのサイズを変更
オブジェクトの周囲の選択ボックスの角にポインタを置いて矢印ハンドルを表示し、ドラッグしてオ
ブジェクトのサイズを変更します。
拡大／縮小倍率を指定する場合
1. オブジェクトを選択
2. 書式設定ダイアログボックスを開く
3.［倍率］を設定

• 複数のオブジェクト選んでいる場合は、［回転］は選べません。

オブジェクトを自動配置する
レイアウトエリアのオブジェクトを自動的に配置できます。
1. 自動配列を選択
ツールバーの［自動配列］をクリックします。または［オブジェクト］メニューから［オブジェクトの
自動配列］を選択します。
すべてのオブジェクトが自動的に配置されます。
