使用前の準備 （つづく）

充電のしかた
初めてご使用になる前に充電してください。

電源は必ず交流100-240Vで、付属の電源アダプターをご使用ください。また
LED光乾燥器（RM-LX10D、RM-LX8Dに付属）を使用しても充電できます。

充電推奨温度は10～35℃です。推奨温度外では、充電反応が鈍くなり十分充電
されずに使用回数が少なくなったり、充電しない場合があります。

取扱説明書に従ってご使用頂いても、使用回数が極端に少なくなった場合は、
電池の寿命が考えられます。電池の交換はお買い上げの販売店または28ページ
のお客様ご相談窓口にご相談ください。
(電池寿命は使用・保存状態によっても大きく変化します。)

使用前の準備

・ぬれた手で電源アダプターをコンセントに抜き差ししない。
(感電・けがの原因)

水ぬれ禁止

・電源アダプター・LED光乾燥器は浴室など水のかかるところや、湿気の
多いところでは使用しない。(感電・ショートの原因)

水場での
使用禁止

・本体は水滴を十分にふき取り、乾燥させて充電する。
(ショート・発熱によるやけどの原因)
本体ソケットに水滴がついている場合は、ふき取って乾燥させる。

必ず守る

蓄電池の性能を十分に発揮させるために

・使用の都度充電せず、充電催促の
表示がでたら充電することをおす
すめします。（右表）

• 周囲温度が10～35℃で充電してください。
• 家庭用以外の電源での充電はしないでください。
• 3か月以上使用しなかった場合は、充電してからご使用ください。
• 乾燥した涼しい所で保存し40℃以上の暑い所や0℃以下の寒い所で
• の保存は避けてください。

充電時間は1.5 時間です。
充電中、電源アダプターと本体が少し熱くな
ることがありますが、異常ではありません。
スイッチが「ON」になっていると充電しませ
ん。
蓄電池が放電していますと充電ランプが点
灯しない場合があります。そのまま充電を
続けますと充電ランプが点灯後に蓄電池へ
の充電を開始します。
充電中やご使用中、テレビなどに雑音が入る
場合は、別のコンセントをご使用ください。

使用前の準備

海外で電源アダプターを使用する場合

この商品は交流100-240V 電源でA プラグのコンセントが使用できます。
同一国内でも地域により電圧およびプラグ形状が異なる場合がありますので、
現地のホテルや旅行社などに相談し十分お確かめください。プラグアダプター
を使用する場合は、使用される商品の消費電力に見合う容量のものをご使用く
ださい。購入される場合は空港などの免税店や現地のホテル・旅行社などにご
相談ください。Aプラグ地域ではプラグアダプターなしで使用できます。

電源アダプターをLED光乾燥器と
コンセントに接続します。本体を
LED光乾燥器にセットし、本体側
面充電端子が充電用接点にあたる
ようにセットすると充電LEDが点
灯し充電を開始します。

本体を「カチッ」と音がするま
で押し込みます。正しく取りつ
けられていない場合は充電LED
と本体の充電ランプが点灯しま
せん。

・水洗い後・乾燥後は、必ずシェーバーオイルを外刃とキワゾリ刃、
往復式トリマーに注油する。（切れ味の低下、使用回数の減少、

・ご使用後は、湿気の少ないところに保存する。(浴室などに放置すると

・使用しないときは必ずキャップを取りつける。

・ドライヤーやファンヒーターなどで乾燥しないでください。

・LED光乾燥器を傾いた場所や不安定な場所に置いたり、使用中に移動させ

使いかた

キワゾリ刃側を上にして、ヒゲの向きとは反対に矢印方向に軽くすべらせる ように剃る 2

使用推奨温度は10～35℃です。推奨温度を下回る低温下で使用・保存す
ると動作しなかったり使用回数が少なくなる場合があります。

連続で20分以上使用しない。回路保護のため約20分で
自動停止します。もう一度｢ON｣にすると使用できます。
外刃で剃りにくい長く伸びたヒゲを剃るときは、キワゾ
リ刃で長く伸びたヒゲを短くして外刃で仕上げます。
ロータリー刃を広く使って鼻下などを剃りたいときは、
トリマーつまみで往復式トリマーを下げてください。

キワゾリ刃を
上向きに

ご使用後は、スイッチを「OFF」にしてキャップをかぶせる 3

ロックマーク　が点滅します。
その間に３秒間スイッチを長押しするとスイッチがロックします。音は
しません。ロックすると点灯に変わり５秒後に消えます。
ロックを解除するにはスイッチを3秒間長押しします。

（RM-LX10D/RM-LX9）
残量表示は約5秒後に消灯します。但し、「10」が点滅している場合は、5秒後
も20分間点滅しつづけますので充電してください。
本体の内蔵LEDは、スイッチを「OFF」にして20分間点灯した後に消灯します。
使用後すぐに消灯させるには、もう一度スイッチを押すと消灯します。
（RM-LX8D/RM-LX7）
残量表示ランプは約5秒後に消灯します。

泡剃りもできます

• 交流式では泡剃りはしない。(感電・ショートの原因)
• 肌に強く押しつけない。(特に唇など肌を傷つけたり、外刃破損の原因)
• 禁止

泡剃りの準備

● 洗顔フォームの場合（泡立て機能）

使用できる洗顔料を参考にしてください。（肌トラブル、刃の目詰まり、故
障の原因）

（1） 泡をつくる前に毛くずがたまっていないか確認し掃除し

ます。

（2） 外刃を水またはぬるま湯で濡らします。

（3） 洗顔フォームを指にとり、外刃にぬり広げます。
外刃上で薄くぬり広げる程度の量で泡立てることができ
ます。

（4） 本体スイッチを「ON」にすると泡が発生します。

泡の量が少ない場合、水またはお湯で濡らした指で外刃
部分に少量の水を加えることで泡が再度発生します。
※洗顔フォームが無くなると泡立ちません。

よく泡立てて顔につけます。

使用後は、必ず水洗いして石けん成分を洗い流す 2

水洗いのしかたは「お手入れ」の18～21ページを参照してください。

石けん成分が残っていますと、固まって内刃が動かなくなるなど機器の故
障につながり、切れ味の低下・使用回数の減少などの原因になります。

お手入れ後は、湿気の少ないところに保存する 3 浴室などに放置しますと、本体内部で結露やさびが発生して機器の故障の 原因になります。

汚れがひどい場合やおちにくい場合

大量の毛くずが中にある場合、水洗いだけでは中の毛くずを取りのぞけない
可能性があります。その場合一度外刃ホルダーを取りはずし掃除用ブラシで
毛くずを掃除してください。

一度水洗いをした後、外刃に台所用洗剤(中性)を少量つけ、
スイッチを｢ON｣にして約20秒間刃面全体をまんべんなく
泡立てたあと、もう一度水洗いをすると汚れが取れます。

それでも汚れや臭いが取れない場合は、外刃組、内刃組をは
ずし台所用洗剤(中性)を少量入れた水またはぬるま湯に8時
間ぐらいつけた後、水洗いしますと汚れや臭いが取れます。

LED光乾燥器での除菌について

乾燥中(作動後約1.5時間)は、LED光乾燥器のLED照射と温熱で外刃と光触媒コーテ
ィングの内刃を除菌します。
乾燥時間は約1.5時間行います。乾燥終了後は自動的にLED光除菌モードに切り替わ
り約15時間LEDを照射します。
実使用したシェーバーの実証結果ではありません。

• Lightly apply the blades to skin and slowly shave to shave off gently and cleanly.
• 1. Lightly hold the main body with the front (switch side) toward you.
• 2. Stretch out the skin by hand to raise beard from the roots of the beard.
• 3. Shaving with the flow of beard
• Lightly apply the blade surface perpendicular to skin with the trimming blade side up.

How to charge (P.3)
Charge before first use.
Make sure to use the included power adaptor for 100 - 240V AC power. You can also charge by using
an LED light dryer (included in the RM-LX10D, RM-LX8D).

The recommended charging temperature range is 10 to 35°C. Charging outside the recommended temperature
range will slow the charging reaction and cause insufficient charging. As a result, the number of times the
product can be used may decrease or the product may not be charged.
If the number of operating times is extremely small in spite of use in accordance with the instructions, it is
considered that the battery life is about to expire. For battery replacement, consult with your distributor or
customer service representative listed on page 28.
(The battery life greatly varies according to the conditions of use and storage.)

Never connect or disconnect to/from the outlet with wet hands. (Cause of electric shocks or injury)
Do not use the power adaptor and LED light dryer in a place where water is splashed, such as a bathroom,
or in a place with high humidity. (Cause of electric shocks and short circuits)
Wipe away water drops on the main body sufficiently to dry it before charging.
(Cause of burns due to short circuits and heat generation)
If water droplets are on the main body socket, wipe them off and then dry.

• 1. Turn "OFF" the switch and connect the power adaptor to the main body and outlet.
• Charging time is 1.5 hour.
• During charging, the power adaptor and the main body may slightly heat up, this is not abnormal.
• When the switch is turned "ON," this cannot be charged.
• When the battery is completely discharged, the charging lamp may not light. If charging is
• continued as it is, the charging lamp has lit.
• Please use another outlet if noise is generated from the TV, etc., during charging or operation.
• 2. After completion of charging, disconnect the power adaptor.
• With one charge, it can be used for approximately 21 days (3 minutes of use per day).
• The number of operating times may decrease depending on the operating conditions, such as beard

Charging by using an LED light dryer (P.6) (included in the RM-LX10D, RM-LX8D)
1. How to connect
Connect the power adaptor to the LED light dryer and an outlet. Set the main body to the LED light dryer so
that the charging terminal on the side of the main body comes in contact with the charging contact, and the
charging LED lights to start charging.
Push in the main body until it clicks. If it is not set properly, the charging LED and charging
lamp on the main body do not light.

2. After completion of charging
Remove the main body from the charging connector while holding the LED light dryer, and disconnect
the power adaptor from the outlet and LED light dryer.
Do not place the main body with the blade surface facing upward.

If the shaver does not move even when the switch is turned “ON,” connect the power adaptor to the main

The recommended operating temperature is in the range of 10 – 35°C.

a reduced number of operating times.

Never operate the shaver continuously for 20 minutes or more. The shaver automatically stops in

approximately 20 minutes as a circuit protector. You can use it by turning on again.

When shaving a long grown beard which is difficult to shave by the outer blade

Cut long grown beard short with the trimming blade, and finish with the outer blade.

For widely shaving under your nose using the rotary blade, lower the reciprocating trimmer with the trimmer

knob.
3. After use, turn “OFF” the switch and attach the cap to the shaver.

The lock mark ( ) flashes.

During that time, if the switch is held down for 3 seconds, the switch is locked. No sound is produced.

When the switch is locked, the lock mark lights and then goes out in 5 seconds.

To release the lock, hold down the switch for 3 seconds.

(RM-LX10D/RM-LX9)

The remaining battery level goes out in approximately 5 seconds. However, if the “10” lamp flashes, it will

continuously flash for 20 minutes even after 5 seconds have passed, so make sure to charge it.

The built-in LED on the main body goes out after lighting for 20 minutes with the switch turned “OFF.”

To put it out immediately, press the switch again.

(RM-LX8D/RM-LX7)

The remaining battery level lamp goes out in approximately 5 seconds.
Foam-shaving is possible. (P.14)

• Foam can be made with a light coating on the outer blade.
• (4) Foam is generated by turning “ON” the switch on the main body.
• If the amount of foam is small, foam can be regenerated by adding a small amount of water to the outer
• blade portion with a finger moistened with water or hot water.
• When face wash foam runs out, no foam will come out.
• In the case of using soap

• Foam-shaving
• 1. Further lightly press it to the skin to shave upward than when shaving dry (without shaving foam).
• Add foam as appropriate because if it dries, poor sliding on skin will result.

• For how to clean with water, refer to "Maintenance" on page 18-21.
• If soap remains, it will harden and damage the shaver including impairing the rotation of the inner blade,

3. Apply lubricant and store it in a place free from moisture after shaving.

Leaving it in a bathroom, etc., may result in damage since condensation and rust will occur

inside the main body.

How to use with AC (P.16)

• Avoid using in a place where water is splashed such as a bathroom or in a place with high moisture.

• Never foam-shave or clean with water. (Cause of electric shocks and short circuits)
• 1. Connect the power adaptor to the main body and outlet and turn "ON" the switch.
• If the battery is completely discharged, the shaver will sometimes be difficult to start.
• In this case, if the switch is turned "OFF," the battery is placed into a charging status.
• Operate after charging the battery for about one minute.
• 2. After use, turn "OFF" the switch and disconnect the power adaptor from the outlet and main body.
• How to shave with trimming blade (P.17)

• Do not allow beard into the blade edge instantly.

After use (especially shaving with soap), make sure to perform maintenance. Make sure to wash the outer
blade - inner blade assembly with water. (Cause of deterioration in sharpness or scattering of beard cuttings)
Apply the shaver oil (included) to the outer blade, trimming blade, and reciprocating trimmer during each time of
washing with water, or once a week in the case of brush cleaning. Otherwise, spray lubricant (shaver cleaner)
available as an optional extra.

The outer blade assembly and inner blade assembly can be washed with water.
Since clotted hair may not be removed by simply washing with water, occasionally remove it by using a

1 Turn “OFF” the switch and remove outer blade assembly.

Press the outer blade assembly detachment button (①) and remove the outer blade assembly in the

direction of the arrow (②).

Be sure to turn “OFF” the switch because if the switch is “ON,” the inner blade will rotate.
2 Wash the outer blade, inner blade, and trimming blade with water.

If the contamination is severe or difficult to remove:

If a large amount of beard clippings accumulate inside, the internal beard clippings may be hard to remove
by simply washing with water. In such a case, remove the head holder and the outer-inner blade assembly
once, and clean the beard clippings with the cleaning brush.
If buildup is severe or difficult to remove, wash with water, apply a small amount of kitchen detergent
(neutral) to the outer blade, turn "ON" the switch, and evenly foam the entire surface of the blade for
approximately 20 seconds. Then, wash the shaver once again to remove buildup.

• If buildup still cannot be removed, remove the outer-inner blade assembly, soak the shaver in
• water or lukewarm water containing a small amount of kitchen detergent (neutral) for approximately
• eight hours, then wash it with water to remove buildup.
• Please refer to "How to replace the outer blade assembly and inner blade assembly" on pages 24 to 25 to
• detach or attach the outer blade assembly and inner blade assembly.
• Never use bathroom or toilet detergents, etc.
• 3. Wipe water drops off the body, and dry.
• If the outer blade assembly is removed, quick drying will result.
• Never shake the main body to drain off water. (Cause of disconnection of inner blade assembly)
• Never dry in places exposed to direct sunlight or high temperatures.
• (Cause of failure by degradation of water-proof rubber or deformation of the body)
• Never dry with a dryer, etc. (Cause of failure)
• Keep out of reach of children.
• 4. Attach the outer blade assembly.
• Attach without pushing the outer blade assembly detachment button.
• Check the outer blade assembly for flotation.
• The outer blade assembly cannot be connected in a state where it is facing back to front.
• 5. After drying, turn “ON” the switch, apply one drop of the included shaver oil to each portion of the outer
• blade, trimming blade, and reciprocating trimmer indicated by the arrows shown in the illustration at the
• right, and turn “OFF” the switch in 4 to 5 seconds. Wipe the surfaces of the outer blade and trimming blade
• with tissue, etc., and attach the cap.

• After drying, be sure to apply the shaver oil to the outer blade, trimming blade, and reciprocating trimmer.
• (This will prevent deterioration in sharpness, reduction in rotational rate of the motor, reduction in operating
• times, premature damage due to wear of the outer blade, and heat generation of the blade.)
• 6. After maintenance, keep the shaver in a place free from moisture.
• Leaving the shaver in a bath, etc., will cause failure due to dew condensation inside the body.
• 7. Prevent deterioration of the battery.
• If the shaver is not used for a long time, charge it for 1 hour once every six months to prevent
• deterioration of the battery.

Drying with the LED light dryer (P.20) (included in the RM-LX10D,RM-LX8D)
The main body and trimming blade cannot be dried.
Use at an ambient temperature of 15 ℃ or more.
1. Connect the power adaptor to the LED light dryer and an outlet.

Do not block the suction slot.

Keep out of the reach of children.

• 2. After washing with water, wipe off water droplets on the main body, and attach the outer blade assembly.
• Lightly wipe off water droplets on the blade surfaces with tissue, etc.
• Insufficient wiping may cause water droplets to remain.
• 3. Mount the main body on the LED light dryer.
• Set the main body as its front (switch side) faces front and its blade surfaces face down.
• Wipe off water droplets adhered to the main body.
• Be careful because the main body may topple over if tilted forward.
• Do not use with other models.
• Push in the main body until it clicks. If it is not set properly, the charging LED and charging
• lamp on the main body do not light.
• 4. Press the select switch.
• During drying, the drying LED lights in blue, and the light emitting lens lights in purple, and the fan rotates.
• The drying time is approximately 1.5 hours. After completion of drying, it automatically switches to
• 15 hours’ LED irradiation and 1.5 hours’ charging. (The drying LED flashes slowly.) If the ambient
• temperature is under 15℃, which is sensor-detected, the drying time becomes approximately 3 hours.

the power adaptor from the outlet.

6. After drying, apply the shaver oil, and keep it in a place free from moisture.

• 1. Turn “OFF” the switch, and remove the outer blade assembly.
• For how to detach or attach the outer blade assembly/inner blade assembly, refer to “How to replace the

• 2. Clean the outer blade assembly and inner blade assembly.

If the inside of the inner blade is severely contaminated, perform soak washing on page 19.

• 3. Remove the inner blade assembly, and clean the main body and trimming blade.

• detergent (neutral) and firmly wrung.

Never use alcohol, benzine, and thinner, etc. (Causes of deformation and discoloration)
Do not tilt the LED light dryer or turn it upside down.

Maintenance of the LED light dryer (P.23) (included in the RM-LX10D, RM-LX8D)
The LED light dryer cannot be washed with water.
Make sure to disconnect the power adaptor from the LED light dryer.

• Remove the catch by sliding it.
• Be careful not to tilt it if water has accumulated.
• Pour out the water, and lightly wipe with a dry cloth or tissue, etc.
• When removing the catch, if the LED light dryer is turned upside down, water droplets may enter

1. Turn “OFF” the switch, and remove outer blade assembly.

Push the outer blade assembly detachment button (①), and remove the outer blade assembly in the

direction of the arrow (②).

Make sure to turn “OFF” the switch because the inner blade rotates when it is turned “ON.”

• 2. Remove the inner blade assembly.
• The inner blade assembly is removed by holding the inner blade assembly detachment knob (①) and
• sliding it straight in the direction of the arrow (②).
• Be aware that pulling upward will cause failure due to deformation, etc.
• 3. Attach a new inner blade assembly.
• When attaching the inner blade assembly, make sure to turn “OFF” the switch.
• Also, be careful to prevent the switch from turning “ON” carelessly. (Cause of injury to fingers)
• If the inner blade assembly is not attached securely, this will cause a failure.
