充電のしかた

初めてご使用になる前に、充電してください。
電源は必ず交流100-240Vで、付属の電源アダプターをご
使用ください。
充電推奨温度は10～35℃です。
推奨温度を下回る温度では、充電反応が鈍くなり、十分に充
電されずに使用回数が少なくなる場合があります。
蓄電池には寿命があります。
(電池寿命は使用・保存状態により大きく変化します。)
取扱説明書に従ってご使用頂いても、使用回数が極端に少な
くなった場合は、電池の寿命が考えられます。電池の交換は
お買い上げの販売店または29ページのお客様ご相談窓口にご
相談ください。

ぬれた手で電源アダプターをコンセントに抜
き差ししない。(感電・けがの原因）

電源アダプターは浴室など水のかかるところ
や、湿気の多いところでは使用しない。

本体は水滴を十分にふき取り、乾燥させて充

■海外でのご使用について
この商品は交流100-240V電源でAプラグのコンセントが使
用できます。
同一国内でも地域により電圧およびプラグ形状が異なる場合
がありますので、現地で十分お確かめください。

• 1. 使用の都度充電しないでください。電池の寿命が短くなります。
• 2. 3か月以上使用しなかった場合は、充電してからご使用くだ
• さい。
• 3. シェーバーが動かなくなった場合でも、スイッチを｢ON｣に
• したまま放置しないでください。
• 4. 周囲温度が10～35℃で充電してください。
• 5. 家庭用以外の電源での充電はしないでください。

●初めてお使いの場合は、軽く肌に当て少しずつ試しながら
そってください。

外刃でのそりかた

使用前に外刃の破れや変形がないか確認する。
(肌を傷つける原因)

肌に強く押しつけない。
(特に唇など肌を傷つけたり、外刃破損の原因)

外刃の一部だけでそったり、使用中に指や爪を外
刃にあてない。(外刃が破損して肌を傷つける原因)

肌に吹き出物や傷がある場合は、使用時に注意

(1) 肌を手で伸ばしてひげを起こす。
(2) 外刃全体を肌に軽くあてる。
(3) 軽く当ててゆっくりとひげの流れに逆らって滑らせ

るようにそる。

外刃でそりにくい長く伸びたひげをそるときは
キワゾリ刃で長く伸びたひげを短くして、外刃で仕上
げます。

●

使用推奨温度は10～35℃です。
推奨温度を下回る低温下で使用・保存されますと、動作し
なかったり使用回数が少なくなる場合があります。

使用後は、スイッチを「OFF」にして、キャップを
かぶせる。

■石けんぞり(シェービングフォーム)もで きます

交流式では石けんぞりはしない。
(ショートの原因)

肌に強く押しつけない。(特に唇など肌を傷
つけたり、外刃破損の原因)

市販のシェービングフォーム(泡状のもの）を使用すると、
肌のすべりもよく、より深ぞりできます。

注 意

クリーム状やジェル状のシェービング剤は使用しない。

1 よく泡だてて顔につける。

2 ドライ（シェービングフォ ームを使わない）でそると きよりも、さらに軽く肌に 当てて、 ゆっくりとひげの 流れに逆らって滑らせるよ うにそる。

シェービングフォームが乾くと、滑りが悪くなりますので
適量追加してください。

3 使用後は、必ず水洗いして石けん成分を洗い流す。

水洗いのしかたは「お手入れ」の21～23ページを参照し
てください。

石けん成分が残っていますと、固まって内刃が動かなく
なるなど機器の故障につながり、切れ味の低下・使用回
数の減少などの原因になります。

4 お手入れ後は、湿気の少ないところに保存する。

浴室などに放置しますと、本体内部で結露やさびが発生
して機器の故障の原因になります。

交流式での使いかた

電源アダプターは浴室など水のかかるところや、
湿気の多いところでは使用しない。
(感電・ショートの原因)

石けんぞりや水洗いをしない。
(感電･ショートの原因)

1 電源アダプターを本体とコンセントに接続して、 スイッチを「ON」にする。

●蓄電池が完全に放電していますと、起動しにくいときが
あります。そのようなときは、スイッチを「OFF」にす
ると充電しますので、約1分間充電してからご使用くだ
さい。

2 15～16ページの「外刃でのそりかた」に従い使用する。

3 使用後は、スイッチを「OFF」にして、電源アダプター をコンセントと本体から抜く。

お知らせ

交流式として使用される場合も蓄電池は消耗しますの
で1か月に1回は充電してください。

キワゾリ刃でのそりかた

刃先に毛が一気に入り込みますと、毛が引っぱられたり噛み
込みが発生して切れ味低下の原因になります。

●モミアゲなどのキワをそろえるときに使います。

1 キャップを前後逆向きに 取りつけ、ロックボタン を押しながらスイッチを 上にスライドさせて「　 」 にする。

お手入れ

■快適な切れ味を保つために

2日～3日に1回はお手入れ(水洗いまたはブラシ掃除)
してください。
毛くずがたまると、切れ味が悪くなったり毛くずが飛び散る
原因になります。

●

水洗いの場合はその都度、ブラシ掃除の場合は週に
一度、外刃に別売の潤滑剤(シェーバークリーナー)を
吹きつけてください。

●

内刃の動きを滑らかにします。
切れ味を保ちます。
刃の磨耗を防ぎます。

●

●

使用回数の減少を防ぎます。
刃の発熱を抑えます。

●

別売の潤滑剤(シェ－バ－クリ－ナ－SC-51H)をお買い求
めください。

水洗い

●外刃、内刃および本体は水洗いができます。

水洗いだけでは、内刃にこびりついた毛くずが取れない場合
がありますので、時々掃除用ブラシで取り除いてください。

お手入れ

汚れがひどい場合やおちにくい場合

一度水洗いをした後、外刃に
台所用洗剤(中性)を少量つけ、
スイッチを｢ON｣にして
約20秒間刃面全体をまんべん
なく泡立てたあと、もう一度
水洗いをすると汚れが取れます。

所用洗剤(中性)を少量入れた水
またはぬるま湯に8時間ぐらい

Preparation before use (P.3～6)
How to charge (P.3)

Charge before first use.

Make sure to use the included power adaptor for 100 - 240V AC power.

The recommended charging temperature is in the range of 10 – 35°C
At a temperature below the recommended temperature, the charging response may slow down,
causing an insufficient charge and a reduced number of operating times.
Each battery has a service life.
(The battery life greatly varies according to the conditions of use and storage.)
If the number of operating times is extremely small in spite of use in accordance with the
instructions, it is considered that the battery life is about to expire. For battery replacement,
consult with your distributor or customer service representative listed on page 29.

Never connect or disconnect to/from the outlet with wet hands. (Cause of electric shocks or injury)
Do not use the power adaptor in a place where water is splashed, such as a bathroom, or in a
place with high humidity. (Cause of electric shocks and short circuits)

Wipe away water drops on the main body sufficiently to dry it before charging.
(Cause of burns due to short circuits and heat generation)
1. Turn "OFF" the switch and connect the power adaptor to the main body and outlet.

Caution

When the switch is turned "ON," this cannot be charged.

When the battery is completely discharged, the charge lamp may not light.
If charging is continued as it is, the battery will start to be charged after the charge lamp
has lit.

Recommended

Wipe off water droplets if adhered to the main body socket.

Please use another outlet if noise is generated from the TV, etc., during charging or operation.
2. After completion of charging, disconnect the power adaptor.

During charging, the power adaptor and the main body may slightly heat up, this is not

abnormal.

• 1. Remove the cap, and turn the switch to "ON" while pressing the lock button.
• 2. Shave in the direction of the arrow against the flow of your beard so as to slide lightly.

How to shave closely

(1) Stretch your skin with one hand to raise your beard.

(2) Lightly apply the entire outer blade to skin.

(3) Lightly apply, and slowly shave against the flow of your beard so as to slide.


To shave a long grown beard that is hard to shave with the outer blade:


Cut a long grown beard short with the trimming blade, and finish with the outer blade.

The recommended operating temperature is in the range of 10 – 35°C.
Use or storage at a temperature below the recommended temperature may disable the
shaver or cause a reduced number of operating times.

3. After use, turn the switch to "OFF" and attach the cap to the shaver.
You can also shave with soap (shaving foam).(P.16～17)

• Never soap-shave with alternating current. (Cause of short circuits)
• Never press on the skin strongly. (Cause of damage to skin and breakage of outer blade)
• Use of commercially available shaving foam results in better sliding on skin and closer shaving.
• Note : Never use shaving agents in cream or gel form. (Cause of blade clogging)
• 1. Lather your face well.
• 2. Apply to your skin more lightly than when you shave in a dry state (without using shaving foam),
• and slowly shave against the flow of your beard so as to slide.
• Add foam as appropriate because if it dries, poor sliding on skin will result.

• 3. After use, make sure to wash off the soapy components with water.
• For how to wash with water, see the "Maintenance" section on page 21-23.
• If any soapy components remain, it will lead to failure of the equipment, or cause deterioration
• in sharpness, reduction in operating times, etc.
• 4. After maintenance, lubricate and keep the shaver in a place free from moisture.
• Leaving the shaver in a bath, etc., will cause failure due to dew condensation inside the body.

How to use with alternating current (P.18)

• Never use in places splashed with water, such as in a bath, or in humid places.
• (Cause of electric shocks or short circuits)
• Never soap-shave or wash with water. (Cause of electric shocks or short circuits)
• 1. Connect the power adapter to the body and an outlet, and turn the switch to "ON."
• If the batteries are completely discharged, the shaver may be hard to start. In this case,
• charge for approximately one minute by turning the switch to "OFF" before use.
• 2. Use in accordance with “How to shave with the outer blade” on page 15 and 16.
• 3. After use, turn the switch to "OFF" and remove the power adapter from the outlet and body.

• How to shave with the trimming blade (P.19)
• If a lot of hair enters the blade edge, the hair will be pulled, or get stuck, causing deterioration
• in sharpness.
• 1. Attach the cap back to front and slide the switch to the “ ” by pressing the lock button.
• Use the shaver with the cap attached. (Head hair may get inside the outer blade.)
• 2. Lightly apply to your sideburns at right angles, and slowly shave in the direction of the arrow.

3. After use, slide the switch to the "OFF" to place the trimming blade back into the original position,

and attach the cap in the right position.

• Washing with water (P.21～24)
• The outer blade, inner blade and body can be washed with water.
• Since clotted hair may not be removed by simply washing with water, occasionally remove it by
• using a cleaning brush.
• 1. Turn the switch to "OFF" and remove the outer blade holder.
• 2. Wash the outer blade, inner blade, and trimming blade with water.
• Note : Do not use hot water. (Cause of deformation or failure)
• Never soak in water. (Cause of failure)
• Never use bathroom or toilet cleaner, etc. (Cause of failure)
• Advice
• If buildup is severe or difficult to remove, wash with water, apply a small amount of kitchen
• detergent (neutral) to the outer blade, turn "ON" the switch, and evenly foam the entire surface
• of the blade for approximately 20 seconds. Then, wash the shaver once again to remove buildup.
• If buildup still cannot be removed, remove the outer blade and inner blade, soak the shaver
• in water or lukewarm water containing a small amount of kitchen detergent (neutral) for
• approximately eight hours, then wash it with water to remove buildup.
• Please refer to "How to replace the outer blade and inner blade" on pages 26 to 27 to detach
• or attach the outer blade and inner blade.
• Never use bathroom or toilet detergents, etc.
• 3. Wipe water drops off the body, and dry.
• If the outer blade holder is removed, quick drying will result.
• Note:
• Never shake the main body to drain off water. (Cause of disconnection of inner blade)
• Never dry in places exposed to direct sunlight or high temperatures.
• (Cause of failure by degradation of water-proof rubber or deformation of the body)
• Never dry with a dryer, etc. (Cause of failure)
• Keep out of reach of children.
• 4. After drying, apply separately sold shaver cleaner to the outer blade.

After drying, be sure to apply separately sold shaver cleaner to the outer blade and trimming blade.

(Prevents a reduction in sharpness, a decrease in the number of rotations of the motor, a

reduction in the number of times of use, early breakage due to abrasion of the outer blade, or

heat generation of the blade.)
5. Install the outer blade holder, idle for approximately 10 seconds, and wipe the surfaces of the

outer blade and trimming blade with a tissue, etc..

Push down the both ends of the outer blade holder removal button until it clicks.

• 6. After maintenance, keep the shaver in a place free from moisture.
• Leaving the shaver in a bath, etc., will cause failure due to dew condensation inside the body.
• 7. Prevent deterioration of the battery.
• If the shaver is not used for a long time, charge it for 5 hours once every six months to
• prevent deterioration of the battery.

• 1. Turn the switch to "OFF" and remove the outer blade holder.
• 2. Clean the outer blade, inner blade, trimming blade, and body.
• 3. After cleaning, store the trimming blade, and install the outer blade holder.

• Once a week, turn "ON" the switch, apply separately sold shaver cleaner to the outer blade
• and trimming blade, and after 10 seconds, turn "OFF" the switch, and wipe the surfaces of the
• outer blade and trimming blade with tissue, etc.
• Wipe away any contamination on the body with a cloth wrung tightly after being moistened
• with water or watered-down kitchen detergent (neutral).

How to replace the outer blade and inner blade (P.26～27)

• When replacing the blade, be sure to disconnect the power plug, and turn the switch to "OFF".
